Thank you for all your patience and dedication to the long term project of setting up a community radio station. KCR FM has come such a long way over the last 12 months. We now have live programming seven days a week, with an excellent variety of programs.
This year saw the start of a new era for KCR FM: our first outside broadcast! On Saturday June 9th, during the opening of the Bendigo Community Bank in Forrestfield, we transmitted live for five hours. It was a huge success and a big step forward for KCR FM, both technically and in terms of our representation in the community.
KCR FM intends forging stronger links with all community groups in our area; so if you are part of a club, organisation or association, please get in touch. We need to know how we can improve our service to the community, and we need your input and support.
